Gossip, News & Randoms:
What's going on with Asian and Asian American Artists

Gossip, News & Randoms: What’s going on with Asian and Asian American artists?

Kevin So - In a decade of performing his original music around the country, Kevin So has earned the respect of his fellow musicians, won over members of the press and radio and built up a substantial fan base coast to coast. With the sky still the limit, he has spent more than 15 years giving free rein to his musical imagination.

The man is well known by the ImaginAsian Radio audience and we think he is one of the hardest working man in show business. He is at it again, back on tour with three shows in three days in New York City from May 4th through May 6th, 2008. For more information please see the Events section below or visit www.kevinso.com.

Natalise - Her incredible journey as an emerging artist has taken a myriad of twists and turns, appearing and re-appearing in an unpredictable cascade of artistic and musical expressions, immersed in shadowy international intrigue, standing atop those I’m-going-to-eat-you-alive stilettos heels.

She debuted her new single “China Doll” at the launch event for The ImaginAsian Center in early December, now she has finally dropped the new video for the song. To check out the video, please log on to www.myspace.com/natalise.

Isul Kim - She moved to San Francisco in 2004 and met veteran rock musician, Garry Ventura. After that serendipitous meeting, Isul set out across the country, playing in cities including NYC, Chicago, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, with a vintage Gibson Everly Brothers acoustic.

Isul Kim will be playing an acoustic set in San Francisco to warm up for her CD release on June 13th, 2008 for “The City Lights are Blinding You” with The Song of the Siren. For more information on the show, please see the Events section below or log on to www.myspace.com/songofthesirenband.
