Flow Sik’s New Single NOW LOOK

The New York City native, Flow Sik, has rocked the hip hop scene for a while now. You may know about his many features on ImaginAsian TV/Radio, MTV and countless other outlets. You may also know about his singles: "Find a Way Out," "Hate," "Still Tippin’" featuring Yumi, and collaborations with hip hop legend, Ice-T.

After a long hibernation, Flow Sik has come back hard with a brand new, never heard before single, "Now Look", produced by Philly Potts. Here at ImaginAsian Radio, we have heard that he is also set to drop the long awaited mix tape, Before the Beginning… To hear the single and for more information, please log on to www.myspace.com/flowsik.

Gossip, News & Randoms:
What's going on with Asian and Asian American Artists

Gossip, News & Randoms: What’s going on with Asian and Asian American artists?

Sub Swara - These boys keep on setting the bar higher and higher. ImaginAsian Radio remembers when they just set up shop in New York City. Now, just three years later, they have completely taken over the party scene. They have set a cornerstone in New York City with their monthly installments, importing talent from all over the world for your dancing pleasure.

For this month’s installment, they have invited two very distinguished DJs: DJ C, who is best known for his remix of M.I.A.’s "U.R.A.Q.T.", devastating dance floors worldwide, and, from the West Coast, Mob Bosstress Anasia. Both DJs will descend on LOVE Lounge and join the Sub Swara crew for an unforgettable night. For more information, please see the Events section below or simply log on to www.subswara.com.

Emm Gryner – A writer and label owner, versatile musician and producer, Emm Gryner has captured the hearts of wayward souls with songs that are filled with dark and haunting hues behind their subtle shine. This is true of Emm Gryner’s singing and songwriting style and what makes her one of ImaginAsian Radio’s favorite artists. Not to mention, when asked, "Of the last twenty years, which song do you wish you had written?" Bono of U2 pointed to Emm’s "Almighty Love."

Now she has just released a slew of dates in her hometown of Canada; from British Columbia to Alberta to Ontario. If you are interested in catching one of her great live shows (and, believe us, it’s a great show), please log on to www.myspace.com/emmgryner for venues and ticketing.

Susie Suh – Susie Suh is one of the few Asian American artists signed to a major record label and featured on ImaginAsian Radio. Her debut, self-titled album, was a success, and she is currently back to writing and gearing up to record her second album.

Susie has just announced that she has a free download available on her site. All you have to do to get this new song is sign up for her newsletter at www.susiesuh.com/FlashSite/mailing_list.htm. It’s her live version of Bob Dylan’s "Don’t Think Twice, It's All Right." For more information, please log on to www.susiesuh.com.
