Meet this young Japanese entrepreneur and reggae artist who has a vision to foster Japanese interest in Jamaican culture and vice versa. She was named an "Ambassador of Goodwill" by the Jamaican consulate as she promotes Jamaican cultural events in NYC and Jamaica. In May 2005, she released her new album "New York to Asia."

Anil (Anil Ki Awaaz) hosted a concert by Vasundhara Das (lead actress in "Monsoon Wedding" and the voice behind countless Bollywood music hits) in Princeton, New Jersey. She was in New York City to promote AIDS awareness at a benefit hosted by former President Bill Clinton. It was a non-ticketed event open to the public and it was Anil's way of saying thank you for the supporters of his radio show. Way to go Anil!
