Mr. Woody Pak, the man who has provided the soundtrack for more of the well-known Asian American films of the past decade, made a short detour and stopped by ImaginAsian Radio’s studio to discuss his new CD, Mood Spheres.

His works have appeared in notable films such as The Grace Lee Project, Black Picket Fence, The Chinatown Files, and In the Tall Grass, just to name a few.

Daniel Ho – The man is back at it again. The 2006 Grammy Award winner for Best Hawaiian Music Album has just been nominated again. The CD, Legends of Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar, live from Maui, features Daniel along with other notable Hawaiian musicians, was nominated for a Grammy in the Hawaiian category (part of the folk category). Big Congrats go out to Daniel and the other great artists that contributed to the CD.

Jay Dabhi – iaRadio’s own Lil’ Jay has been making noise for a while now. Most recently he has been making his presence known in the UK, where he won Bobby Friction’s "Reproduced" Challenge on the BBC Asian Network. In it, they ask a producer/DJ to reproduce their past work and mix it up together.
