Daniel Ho

February 8th, 2006 marked a career milestone for Daniel Ho. He was awarded the music industry's top honor--a Grammy for his work as a producer and artist on the album "Masters of Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar, vol. 1 (Daniel Ho Creations)." He has four nominations (out of 29!): Step 2: Ukuleles in Paradise 2 (Herb Ohta, Jr. & Daniel Ho), NaAnoAno: the seeds (George Kahumoku Jr.), Kalakaua (various artists) and Legends of Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar, Live from Maui (various artists)

MTV's Real World Promo Featuring BS Started this Weekend!
Check out MTV this week as they start playing the Real World-Denver promo featuring Bamboo Shoots' song HEY GIRL. It's the one with the girls saying "Hey Tyrie!" to the guy in the hot tub. Let us know if you hear it and spread the word!

The International Adoptee Congress Inaugural Meeting Kickoff Event (co-sponsored by ImaginAsian TV) will be held November 2, 7pm at GW Jack Morton Auditorium, 805 21st Street, NW, Washington, DC. At the event, international adoptee filmmakers, musicians, photographers, and artists will discuss the past, present, and future of adoptee art. Visit the IAC website for more info.

Kollaboration NY is back! The innovative, annual talent show will be held November 11th, 2006 at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center (199 Chambers St. New York, NY). Watch young, talented Asian Americans showcase their singing, dancing, acting and performing skills!

Kevin So stopped by the studio for an interview with NUZ and singer/songwriter, Jared Rehberg and to leak a couple of songs off his upcoming album, A Brighter Day.
