Mira Vedaexpresses what she calls indo funk – soul. The passion to create has lead to her debut album titled Infinite Love. Working with Juno award winning producer/arranger/composer Chin Injeti and singer/composer/songwriter and President of NARAS (the Grammys), Larry Batiste, helped give Infinite Love its honey soaked flavor. The kinetic energy of Tell me is just a beginning. Mira is now working on a second album. Musically, Mira has shown immense range and ability with a collaborative with Deepak Chopra and Kool and the Gang in which Mira sang chilling impressions of Indian ragas. Among her credits are working with Kenz Desai, Bohemia, Shabaaz, Amani Anansi and Ernesto Sunny Padilla. Mira has also been working hard with Renee Wilson and Mike Molina, on her non profit, LittleMuse. Mira's desire to create social responsibility through Music and Art has lead her to make concerted efforts to assist in building relationships with like minded artists and musicians worldwide. Just In Re-up re-up Last week, on iaList, Peter and Simran had a bet, based on the new government initiative in Beijing where people are being trained to spit in paper bags in an effort to clean up the city for the 2012 Olympic Games. Peter thought that paper bags useless since spit seeps right through. Simran thought spit is too light to seep through the bag. Well, Peter tried to prove it with an experiment—check out the pics in the gallery! Guess what? Peter won! Conclusion: We need to have a thin layer of wax lining the inside of the paper bags. As Simran says, it’s a new product Bounty should consider. Anil-Ki-Awaaz had another great show. The topic was “your fetish.” This was not sexual, mind you. He meant your fetish in terms of obsessive collections. So callers shared some of their fetishes, among them were bangles, watches, shoes, jewelry… and did I hear Anil confess to his collection… of women? What's Poppin' This Week on ImaginAsianRadio.com?
